I am going to get a buffer and try buffing my stabilized wood handles. I have a stick of green , is that what I want to use ? Is one compound enough or will it take 2 to do the job right?

I do understand the buffer can hurt you real bad real quick. In over 30 years of working with machinery I have had to count my fingers to make sure I still had 5 twice, thankfully when I learned about the buffer I was buffing a thick piece of wood.

Green will do a great job on stabilized wood. Wax afterward.

I like to do white after green, but yes, green will work nicely if you wax it afterwards (like Bill said).

I sand to 800X-1000X, buff with pink on a loose wheel, Ren-wax, & buff with a clean loose wheel. Shines like new pennies.

Thanks all, I ordered several buffs and a stick of white. Will try the pink one day soon.
