Using a lot of CF lately and want to get a better 3D effect that will last...
My thoughts 600 grit sand and Green Chrome buff followed by Pink?
OR
400 grit sand with CA finish sanded to 2000 with a White then Pink Buff Like antler
Thinking the CA might not have enough grip to the CF even though it adheres like crazy!
Maybe a top of Ren wax for a finnish over that?
Suggestions...

I take mine up to about 1500-2500 grit then hit it with a 'fine' marine grade rubbing compound and finish with a wax and polish combo. But I only use structural carbon fiber and have never used the stuff sold for knife handles.

I actually think the "figure" pops the most around 800 grit, but it's hard for me to get the surface finish to look super consistant/clean at that point. So I've been hand sanding to 1200X and buffing VERY LIGHTLY with white rouge on a 10" spiral sewn wheel (1800rpm) and then even lighter on a loose wheel with pink no scratch compound. This lets the cf pop and gives a nice uniform surface finish.

I really wouldn't recommend putting CA on it, but that's just me. :)

Here's one I finished recently with a cf handle. :)
