Buffing wheels

What material are the buffing wheels most people use made out of? Thanks

Probably the most used is Muslin, either sewn or loose. You also have Sisal, which is plant fiber woven into a clothlike state, very coarse.
And Felt, in, soft, medium, and hard density. I use a medium felt as a final touch when sharpening.
