The heads are our exclusive bit-aligned 11 Ounce BUG head, handground from select Cold Steel Trail Hawks of zone-tempered 1055 steel.

Each BUG features a Penetrator Poll and a Sharks Tooth Beard - which is superior IMHO to other beard styles for a multitude of reasons, as field tools as well as combatives.

Each hawk has a .50 caliber Through Tube inside a composite fiber-aligned exoskeleton. The tube is capped at both ends by a multi-purpose hermetic plug.

The Through Tube can be used as a storage chamber, Fire Bellows, just about anything you like, where a long straight tube could come in handy in the field.

Our plugs afford extra protection to the ends of the handles, which are also considerably toughened in the new Mk V iteration of our composite handle.

In the unlikely event that our hawks fail to meet your criteria, they are covered with an Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee.

If you are ever dissatisfied with your hawk, just let us know and we will make it right, or cut you a check, at your discretion. Forever.

These hawks are equally at home in the field or combatives, as proper tomahawks should be.

Our proprietary endo-/exo-skeletal composite handles - the Gen 1 Mk V - ain't no plastic pole; they have multiple internal structures, and engineered purpose-built masses that allow them to weigh much less than anything nearly as strong, while giving improved movement and target indexing over homogeneous synthetic or natural-material handles.

Our proprietary handle cross section also aids control and offers better ergonomics over other handles, which limits felt feedback. - We just got a report that one of our hawks was used to chop down a small tree while the user had a broken arm, when he coudln't use two other popular choppers because of the feedback. That was with an older design handle too - these might even be better.

These hawks do not like to leave your hand unless you let them.

Each hawk feature our Snake Skin outer layers, which are essentially a micarta veneer with a micro-pebble finish that is kind to the hands, while allowing superior grip.
