I agree that the 7 is an unbeatable all rounder. Still need to add a 2 to my collection though. A 14 is so small and light there'd be no reason not to have one in an emergency situation.
I've said this in a couple of threads already, but having owned the 7, I traded it for a 2 and am quite pleased to have done so. The 2 just fits me far better than the 7. I like the extra heft and thickness. The 7 underwhelmed me whereas the 2 has me itching to get back out and put it to work.
The bk3 lives in the truck, and so does the bk15. The five is my choice of knives but I like the bk9 also. All things considered though I would take both my bk5's, my bk9, and my trail hawk if shit hit the fan.
I don't really do the whole BOB deal, that having been said I do keep a kit in my car that is kind of an ice chest size rolling tool box and My search and Rescue bag is there too so I could easily ditch the search stuff and add as I see fit. as to the knife I like the BK10, Bk12 or a BK77.
