Maybe you should add one of these to round out the medium range. I guess you could tape a couple together to face front and back. (full auto 12 guage w 20 round drum mags. assorted unpleasant rounds available. http://www.defensereview.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=741)

My BOB as of today has a change of clothing with a few xtra pairs of socks, Springfield 1911 Operator with around 20 8rd wilson mags, Uncle Mofo, Active Duty, and a few other bits and pieces. This stays in the truck now only around 80% of the time. I do keep a much larger bag at the house:D
 
Current Bug out bag is a 38 foot Alfa Gold with Corion Counters and a real Oak cabinets.

Within there is also a smaller bag.
