Greetings Everybody,

This Bug-Out Camp is my new Hybrid Kitchen-Camp Knife.

A perfect knife to place in your Bug-Out Bag, and to take along on picnic and camping trips.

This is one of those knives that falls into the category of "If you could only have one knife".
This one able to do most kitchen chores and camp duties with ease.
A little less room for knuckle-clearance over the cutting board compared to The Backpacker,
and yet still a nice weight for light chopping, and plenty of robust build for splitting kindling out of lumber of off the edge of a log aided by a baton on the spine of this knife.

Created out of 1095 with forged finish, etched & polished bevels and details,
this is a stunning knife that you will clearly think of as an heirloom piece, but still want to use daily, whether in your home kitchen, camp kitchen or adventure.

The handle is created out of a single piece of some vintage Turquoise and Black Canvass Micarta with a single mosaic pin.

The OAL (overall length) is: 11 & 9/16""

The Blade is: just a hair over 6.5" to the handle and has 6 & 1/8" of cutting edge.

This knife comes with a fantastic Kydex Sheath with Tek-Lok belt fastener.
A safe and robust sheath-system perfect for your travels. And as with all my knives, this one comes with makers certificate

This is a wonderful knife that I am sure you would be very pleased with!

$525 Net to me PP is best. Shipping is Free in the USA.

Thanks for taking a look.

-DON:)

P.S. I will be away from my computer until next week Monday May 16th...so if you PM me I will get it then,
....SO if you post I'll take it followed by a PM that will set your intentions for the knife you wish to buy.
.......Both are really fantastic pieces that I'm sure you would be happy with.

Next up is a Sweet Parang I call a Backpackers Parang, due to it's lighter weight construct.

This is a fantastic lightweight (for a Parang) Parang,
suited for back-country exploration and for those who want a small chopper that will not weigh you down.

This is a stock-removal creation.
Created out of 52100 carbon tool steel that has been fully hardened, and heat treated for optimal performance to Rockwell 58.
The Blade has been given a fine Mustard Finish, creating a "forced patina" that look awesome an adds some character!
This knife is sure to please.

The handle is Vintage Westinghouse Antique Linen Micarta that has been beautiful contoured for a nice feel and a sure grip.
With peened bronze pins and two mosaic pins, and some nice carving has been added for grip and aesthetics.

OAL is: 12 & 7/8"

The Blade has 8" of cutting-edge
Blade Width is 1 & 7/8 at the widest.

This knife comes with a very nice army green Kydex Sheath with Tek-lok. And, as with all California Custom Knives , this one comes with makers Certificate.

$675 Net to me, PP is best. Shipping is Free in the USA

Thanks for taking a look:)

....AND, I'll share that these Backpackers Parangs really can do some work.

Richard L. has been giving the sister knife to this one I am listing here a major workout ever since he got it.
AND
as been sharing some images of what he has done with it....even taking it beyond what I would think anyone would do with this size knife.
..like chopping through a 4" tree branch.....but it seems you can no problem

Thanks for taking a look & enjoy...
