I bought a few Bugs earlier this week (eight I think) and I experienced my first problem with one. Closing it (just closing it, no use at all) caused the blade to bend just enough that the knife won't close all the way without the tip stopping to rest on the left handle scale. It's not rubbing against the scale, it's stopping on it; it won't close. I suppose I could've closed it at an awkward angle or something, but it won't close now and I don't want to try to bend it back for fear of breaking it. I know that I can send it back and Spyderco will take care of it, but shipping it back will cost more than I paid for the knife LOL.
I just wanted to bring it to Spyderco and the Forum members' attention that the Bug's blade can bend if you close it in an awkward way, perhaps closing it at an angle or something. Just be careful with it. I'm still really impressed with the Bug, and the seven that I have left continue to do their duties as tiny cutters.
