I wish I could, but Lucky wasn't too lucky. I found him deceased yesterday morning as I prepared to feed him. I knew there was a great chance he wasn't going to make it but I thought I'd try anyway.

Some amazing pics in this thread! I'm very impressed!

Roughedges, those flower pics are positively sensual. NeedleRemorse, that is a very good pic; the only thing I'd do is crop it a little on the right so that the image isn't in the dead center (that whole "rule of thirds" thing.)

And that little turtle! lol, how cute. I love frogs and toads and turtles and things. I got bit by a frog once, when I was feeding it worms in my mom's goldfish pond. The thing didn't mean to bite me; I think it thought that my finger was a big worm. It startled the hell outta me and I pulled my hand back and the poor frog went flying, but landed back in the water, lol. Did you know that frog bites can actually break the skin? It's like they have little razor thingies in their mouths. It wasn't deep enough to bleed, but sort of shredded the outer part of my skin somehow.

Brews, when I was a kid, my dog squashed a mother mouse with a bunch of babies in one bite. I searched and found one remaining baby. It was too small to feed with the little eye-dropper thing I used for kittens, so I fed it by dipping a thin cloth into milk and letting it suck it off, which it actually did. I kept it on top of a cloth on a ziplock bag that I kept filled with warm water. It lived for four days. I even got up at night to change the water and feed the little mouse, whose eyes weren't even open yet. I was only about ten, and my family thought I was crazy. I swear though, I still remember the way the little thing (about the size of my pinky nail) would try to climb up into my hand when I'd reach into the box.

I have a soft spot for tiny little critters I guess. ;)

Ashes, thanks for your story and the pic of the stork. Not as nasty as watching my snake Slinky eat a rat.

Click here to watch Slinky Finish Eating A Rat!

Thanks SilverCall I appreciate it.

Dude, the video was awsome! I don't really care about the snake eating the rat, but the creative usage of the B.O.C. song was awsome! Unfortunatly, I always the of the cowbell skit when I hear that song, but still great creativity!

OOPS! I guess I shouldn't post that early on a weekend morn before the caffeine kicks in. Are ya sure it's a swan though? I thought swans had different heads and shorter beaks. Maybe it's an Egret.

I just took this picture of a cicada coming out of its shell on a tree outside my house. I suppose that it died because it wasnt moving at all. Anyway I just thought it looked cool.
