Looks like it is just supply chain issues then. Thanks for the update.I was just looking again the other day and it looks like the Titanium scale option is back up, so that's cool.
I found this comment from last month amusing, given that all of their kitchen knives are out of stock now.I have a bad impression of how that company runs. Seems the new president is focused on kitchen knives.
It bugs me too (pun intended). The only way I'd buy a Bugout is with the Benchmade Ti scales, so I'm very jealous ofhalden.doerge and his Ti Bugout!
For a while I also wished that they'd bring the Griptilian and Barrage Family of knives back to the custom shop too - I also want a mini-Barrage with black tanto partial serrated S90V blade and CF scales, and a mini-Griptilian with black tanto non-serrated in S90V with desert tan scales (same as the custom my son ordered a while back).
Why just Benchmade's? So many great aftermarket options. It bugs me too (pun intended). The only way I'd buy a Bugout is with the Benchmade Ti scales, so I'm very jealous ofhalden.doerge and his Ti Bugout!

I don't know why but I get a little OCD lately about changing up or modifying my knives. I have a bunch of things to install like Flytanium carbon fiber scales for my mini-griptilian, and Ti skull pocket clip for my mini-barrage, or Lynch deep carry clip for my Spyderco and CRK and Benchmades, etc. But I can't bring myself to change them out and have a Frankenknife. In my head it feels wrong, or out of balance, but it's all in my head. I can get that fixed though. Why just Benchmade's? So many great aftermarket options.

I have felt the same way as you for a while, till this year. I knew 2 knives I wanted that either didn't exist or impossible to find. And I already have everything stock I could ever want.I don't know why but I get a little OCD lately about changing up or modifying my knives. Somehow I didn't have this problem when I modded an Omega Moonwatch a few years back to add a Mitsukoshi reverse panda dial and Mitsukoshi silver hands. But maybe that was because I also have a stock black dial Moonwatch and a LE panda dial Moonwatch (Speedy Tuesday) for the perfect triad or set. And I still swap out bracelet and leather or NATO straps on my watches. But give me a knife and I seem to want to keep it whole and original.
Dang! Why just Benchmade's? So many great aftermarket options.
