I wanted a Bugout with CF-Elite scales and a satin S90V blade, but you can't buy that from the Benchmade custom shop, so I took matters into my own hands and bought a 535-3 and a 535BK-2 (both new), and swapped the blades between the two.
I'm selling the Bugout that has the factory carbon fiber scales from the 535-3, and the black S30V blade from the 535BK-2. The blade swap was performed with Wiha tools, and nothing went wrong (no stripped screws, scratches, etc.) The blade centering is not perfect, it favors the right by about 1mm. I did not make any attempt to adjust the blade centering. (The action is not broken in yet, I'll leave that for the next owner.) Once the action breaks in, you can tighten the pivot a smidge and it should center up.
The knife is gorgeous, the blue thumb stud really pops against the black blade, and the blacked-out liners look great with the carbon scales. One box, papers, and pouch included.
