Hey Guys,

I would like to put my first kit knife together from Crazy Crow and have a few questions.

This is the blade pattern I want to use.

These are the handles I want to use.

What type of glue should I use to attach to handle material and where do you recommend I get it?

What type of rivets and pins should I use for the most secure knife handles? What size should they be?

Thank you very much,

Geoff

I use 2 ton epoxy in a 30min dry time. Many use this same epoxy but I'll let the experts chime in. I have no problems with the 2 ton epoxy tho and its easy to get at your local hardware store.

Any number of glues can be used but the most popular is probably a good epoxy which has a set time of 30 minutes or more.

Typical pins are Stainless, Brass or Nickle silver, you can even use common steels such as nails. I would suggest brass, 1/4" easy to work with, fits the period of the knife, and readily available.

You can find both these at most hobby stores that have aeroplane and car kits and hardware stores
