Build Something! (Smallish Prize)

Thanks RogueBowie, I have an idea. Not big, but something I can do with my son.

My son and I built a candle tonight using a BK13.

First, cut a Clemantine in half:

Fill bottom half with olive oil, cut vents in the top half, so it has air and doesn't burn.

Light, cover and enjoy (for about 45 minutes - an hour)

Awesome!

Here is what I started with.
Osage orange and my 16

A little thinning with the neckers, a 13 would have worked good between the forks.

A old bike inner tube some leather from a old boot and my beloved 10

Here you go. Innertubes make crappy bands. I like the fork so I might have to get some better bands.

Thank you for the contest. It was fun.

Last day for this guys, I will let people submit an entry for the rest of the day. I will declare a winner either when I get home from work tonight or tomorrow morning-ish.

Congrats OFM4 and thanks Rogue for the contest! It was a good excuse to get a Becker in my son's hands, and that's pretty well worth it.
