The Perfect Busse for me would be just like the NMFBM same specs but have a nice drop point like that on the ASH-1. A Busse like this would be the perfect knife for me. Give jerry and the crew some of your ideas and I hope they read this thread real good so they can make have more knife plans in their file cabinet.

The perfect one or two for me would be the CG FBM with either a black coating and green linen mag scales or a chocolate brown coating and tan canvass mag scales.

NMSH-1 just like the ASH-1 but with .25 thick stock and with the NM treatment, now we are talking user there! Give me a few more hours and a couple more pots of coffee and I will have your next years line of knives ideas done, but damn I have to go to work, Uncle Sam is calling.

How about a 3.5" bladed .175" thick choilless, guardless, full convex or scandi ground Game Warden. :p

I like that camo pattern, but I'd want it done with black and red. With a red micarta handle, with a drop point, that'd be my perfect BUSSE. Under 7inch blade.

The Perfect Busse for me would be a Combat Grade SARsquatch, Black coated with Magnum Machined Tiger Micarta, same specs that the original but with a blade Length of 8.0 (instead of 7.0) and a blade thickness of 0.32 or 0.25 (instead of 0.187), Convex Grind and Nuclear Meltdown ball bearing finished.

well, im kind of a 2-3 knife guy, i don't think that just one knife can do it all, so i am going to tell you about my fanasy perfect busse couple.

first of, i want a BIG knife, the NMFBM is as near perfect as i would ever hoped for, so i would want a similar knife, the same great hand shaped mags, but the blade would front of the blade would have a drop point starting about 3 inch from the tip, and the tip would be lowered about 1/2 inch. then we got the perfect busse blade for me.

second i want a smaller knife, about 4" long, with the BAD Design, but, i want a little thicker blade! 3/16 would be great, and a high convex ground.

last, i would like to have a folder, a 3.5" hellrazor design blade, a full titanium body with G10 inlays, frame lock as lockup. the body will have a rounded shape, almost like the GW.

well that's my dreams!

The new NMSFNO may be it, even a FSH, or a SARsquatch in Satin and Orange G-10. Any mid-sized chopper in Satin/Orange is what I want. Thickness .24 to .27, and not a third of an inch or more.

Uncle Sam calling?:eek: What?! I've finally got a long weekend. :D Going to H&H to get the Jeep washed and eat some mexican food for lunch

As far as building me a knife, I would like a Nuclear Jackhammer. Serrations on the top front of the point.

Or maybe a NMFNDCJH Nuclear Meltdown Flying Nuclear Double Cut Jack Hammer!!

Matched set:
10" Chef, 7" utility, 3" parer, BIG Chopper, and 8 steak knives. All in INFI with snakeskin handles, NM treatment, satin blades.

Why?
I could talk my wife into those Busses...

As far as I am concerned I already own the perfect build Busse for me ..
Love the simple lines and amazing performance of the original Satin Jack

Wow, I agree with all those choices, my HHFSH is just about perfect.... and a satin plain orange g-10 squatch would be great too. NMSFNO could be the one though, if Busse offer a NMSFNO with satin g10 options i probably wouldve ordered atleast two.

The perfect Busse for me would be a FBM with no ridges, satin blade finish,3/16 inch thick steel and I might just be tempted by a normal fusion handle to make it smaller instead of my old favorite which was thr magnum handle. I think the FBM design is tops but the knives are too heavy for my taste (in a user).

Busse already made the perfect knife for me- the NMFBM! I love the NMFBM so much it makes me want to puke. I wouldn't change a single thing, it is sheer PERFECTION!
The NMFBM is Lord and Master of all mistresses. It is Lord and Master of all knives!

But, since the idea here is to throw out new ideas- I'm with Uncle Jarvis- I'd like to see more of the old-school Satin Jacks. A NMSJ would be a very good thing. Satin and green linen, please. I'd also really, really like to see a Busse slipjoint. A 3" bladed slipjoint, but done Busse-style. Kinda like a GEC on steroids, with over-the-top thickess, titanium liners and machined linen micarta scales. I think a single-bladed jack, in Infi would be the bees knees.

A Bussmuk would be great to see... not too big, just sized for use around camp. I have patience for the folder, too. Until then I love my ASH1-LE, but get a lot more use from my GW.
