Build the Perfect Busse for you!!!!!!

AK47 blade shortened to five inches. 1/8 inch thick at ricasso. Distal taper beginning about halfway up the blade. No choil. Double cut finish. Full convex grind. RUCK-style handle, four and a half inches long. Very, very tight handle grooves in a pattern like the AD but not as deep/wide and much closer together. No front talon hole. Slight index finger indent with subtle grooves cut into it to minimize slip. And an MCS II kydex multi-carry concealable sheath system designed by Bud Nealy.

That would do the trick nicely.
 
my perfect blade would be a purpose built blade.....it would be a pure fighter that would put the "combat" back in "busse combat"....

the base blade would a skinny ASH.....same thickness, dimensions, etc.....

the whole blade would be mirror polished for better slicing ability and resistance to corrosion.....and it would be easier to clean the blood off.....some people might argue that a mirror polish might attract too much attention, but if you are in a knife fight, the shinyness of the blade would be the least of your worries...

the handle would be textured micarta in magnum size, micarta seems to give a better grip than g10, wet or dry.....color wouldn't matter, but i would prefer red...

the blade would have a fully sharpened 3" false edge.....the blade would be hollow ground, but with a convexed zero edge.....a true slicer.....the top of the spine would have a blade catch like the mr. mofo, and the front talon hole would be enlarged and also be converted into a blade catch......

and the whole blade would have the meltdown treatment....

Now if only they made 3 handle color variations so I could sent one in to get a coated.....down the road.........

A Busse Tanto, NM treatment with 8inch blade of .27 stock and overall 14 inches. Some kind of cool handle too!

I must say I fancy a bit of INFI in a Kukhri.
Would give the BM a run for its money as a chopper.
And the "combat" heritage of the Gurkhas would fit the Combat Busse.

Number one for me would be 9" blade SARsquatch 3/16" thick no swedge no choil a bit thicker handle and scales. Number 2 would be a Khukri, 11-13" long, 3/4-5/32" thick full flat with a convex edge and a hand and a half length handle
 
I would love to see a 4 1/2 or 5" Hell Razor or SFNO in the same size. Or that 2nd SAR knife the Boss drew up.
 
The future looks bright if I can just make alot more money to buy alot more INFI!
