What are all the holes in the handle for? balance? the finished product above is great looking. I don't dig the sheath but the knife rocks. love that mosaic pin.

The sheath in the picture is a custom for a special client
I really like this pin as well... Its all stainless so there will be no tarnishing issues..
The standard sheaths do not have the Snody/Gucci pattern
There are 21 holes in each tang.
They serve three purposes.
1. Multiple handle and bolt configurations
2. Forms multiple 'Epoxy Rivets" attaching handle material to handle material instead of handle material to steel
3. Reduce weight
