Hello, I'm new to the forum and beginning to develop an interest in EDC knives. My small but growing collection consists of:

1. Leatherman Charge AL
2. Spyderco PM2
3. Benchmade Mini-Barrage
4. Buck 110
5. Sebenza 25

Each has a purpose of their own.. The Leatherman I mostly use around the house. The BM for box cutting and is my most common every-day carry as its small and non-threatening outside of the home. The PM2 for flipping at my desk, mostly fun factor but it also gets time at chores around the house. The Buck 110 as I liked the history and will bring this when camping. The Sebenza 25 I fell in love with.

Any suggestions for any future knives or brands I could explore? I'm mostly interested in quality EDC folding knives and prefer to steer away from anything too tactical in nature.

I have the same knives as you plus a couple more, I like my:
Hinderer XM 3.5"
ZT 566
BM 940-1
Strider Tiger Stripe SNG
Zaan
ZT 562 CF
All of those are a great addition,
I just bought a Kizer Cutlery Black G10 & Titanium Frame Lock VG-10 Flipper waiting for it to arrive

Check out Northwoods Knives, made in the USA by Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC) for Derrick at KnivesShipFree. Here are a few of mine - from top to bottom they are the Fremont Jack, Hawthorne Jack, and Norfolk Whittler:

Those look terrific

Definitely check out Zero Tolerance/Kershaw. Kershaw makes some of the best budget knives available. Zero Tolerance (Kershaws higher end brand) makes some of the best hard use knives, however they also make some great EDC blades such as the 0566, 0450, and 0808.

Thanks Grandmaster. The Strider and the Hinderer are definitely ones I would look at. I'll hold off for now on the Zaan, one CRK at a time. I've handled the BM 940 and 940-1, however the 940 took a slice out of my finger in the store, that was the sharpest knife I've ever held! I didn't take the cut as a good sign at the time.

Any thoughts on the Spyderco Sage 2 Titanium?

Also I loved the look of some of the Rockstead knives like the SHU series and RYO-H until I saw their price. Anything similar in design, but priced closer to CRK?

Spyderco seems you have an endless supply of edc options. The endura and delica are great edc's. Zt has some really good offerings.

Take a look at Shigorov, CKF (Custom Knife Factory) they have some really nice designs, I really dont have much experience with Spyderco, besides Police and Military models, those are great, take a look at ZT, they have some of the best designs and at a reasonable price

Yeah maybe try zts I'm hooked on zt a at the moment I only have one tho haha got my first one a few weeks ago a zt0452cf and been looking at another ever since they are just too expensive in Australia that's the downside for me.

I would look at the ZT line. I like the 0770CF a lot. It is assisted, but not a real threatening knife. Carries nice in the pocket.

The ZT 566 is assisted and its a perfect EDC, heavy, nice blade, and great size, I used until my Seb 25 came along, its really good knife

You definitely need a Northwoods.:)

So as it turns out, Hinderer and Strider seem to be rather difficult to get up here in Canada, and the exchange rate is not to favorable these days. That ZT 0562CF is calling my name. Thanks gentlemen!
