This is a one time sale of some surplus material

This is 12 sheets of 8 1/2 X 11 (just under, to fit in the box) of 7/16 micarta in a flat rate box. The sheets are a little oversize and measure about .450" thick each.

This is not Norplex or BGM or other import grades. This is high quality domestically produced Acculam material. It is dimensionally stable, has no soft spots or voids and finishes evenly and consistently. It's as close to the original Westinghouse Micarta as I have found.

This is the same high quality material I use on my own knives.

I'm selling this for $245 per box of 12 sheets plus $10 shipping, total $255

That is .50 per cubic inch. That's tough to beat.

There are seven boxes available. First come first serve who posts in this thread.

Paid and received. ....very fast, well packed. ...thanks.

One question. ...do you happen to know the Acculam part number for this product?

FBGS.437N.4896, C,CE Laminate Sheets 48" x 96", Phenolfab™; NEMA C/CE, MIL-I-24768/16/14

Two sheets yielded 88 pieces (7.3 boxes). Two sheets = $1,468, about double the cost of import grade when buying full sheets. I cleared enough to cover shipping and cutting.

Perfect. ...thanks. just to be clear, I certainly didn't ask the question to sharpshoot your pricing. ...I was happy to pay your price on it. ....very fair. I probably should have explained before I asked. ..but here's why I asked:

It's just that I'm new enough that I wanted to do a little research on which laminates, which phenolics, which manufacturers, etc. produce which products that meet the quality and workability needs of experienced knifemakers and associated professionals. In short, I was sorta asking for a shortcut based on your experience to choose like materials in the future. ...and I'm grateful....thanks very much for the info.
