Bulk Steel or Steel sheets

Hey guys, ive been looking for 1095 high carbon steel or 01 tool steel in sheets as opposed to buying bars of it. Does anyone know where i can get some? I have found a few places online but im not entirely sure if the steel they sell is good to use for knife making. How do you guys buy it? Sheets or bars? And from where?

Lets make sure I understand you. You can only find bar stock, (which is round) and your wanting to find sheet stock (flat stock) IMO bar stock in the said materials is a hell of a lot harder to find than sheet stock. Any knifemaker supply has those materials in sheet stock.
 
Pretty much any steel supplier that sells bars can sell you a sheet. They shear the bars from sheets. Aldo, Crucible/Niagra/ Admiral, etc.
