Bulldog knife question

I just received a Bulldog brand Tennessee Walking horse 4 bladed knife on a trade. Its carbon steel with a two headed pitbull stamped on the blade,hammer forged, solingen germany. Its a really solid knife with what appears to be bone scales, tan with brown grooves. Anyway, would anyone know what generation this was or approximate year? I can't post pics but can email if anyone wants to give it a shot.

I believe it depends on the yr it's made, which "should" be on the blade tang. I sent you an email about this.
 
Thanks guys. It really feels like a solid knife. More substantial than my Case knives if that makes sense.
