Hello all,
Picked up a Bulldog Trapper with stag handles this weekend,Carbon steel blades,Blade etching says Tennessee walking horse.Seems like a good quality knife,Well put together, year 2000 production.I live in florida and you do not see many dealers carrying Bulldog Brand knives.any opinions on their quality,ETC. would be appreciated. Bob B

Bob b, I like them a lot, have collected many like yours over the years and especially like the stag handled stockman. I think they are an overall good knife for the money.

I think they are pretty nice in general. Made in the Olbertz factory, in Solingen, to pretty good standards. They seem to feature very nice handles and handle materials, with solid fit and finish.
You can order direct from the Parkers, or find them all the time on eBay as well, if nobody has them around you.

Hey bob b,
I have several Bulldogs, the quality is excellent in my opinon, and my favorite is my Genuine Stag Bulldog Trapper. Mine are all new and recent productions that I had to order from Smokey Mountain Knife Works to get a half decent price. Now and then I have been bidding on the more sought after Vintage Bulldogs on eBay, because like you I live in the swamp(FLA) and cannot find a decent dealer down here. The Vintage b~dogs are just a fuzz out of my reach for a using folder, but I sure do like `em...
