Bulldog style knives

I've got a bulldog style knife coming later this year. Do any of you have any of the Case or other brand bulldogs to show?

Alright, here ya go. I traded about 6 Opinels in a case to a Surplus store owner I am friends with. I think I scored pretty good!

It does have a some blade wobble though. I may look into getting it tightened up, but I do carry it sometimes. That is the pass around Sebenza with it.

Thanks! Those bulldogs are just great looking knives. What kind of handle material is that? It looks like a dark wood.

Yes, probably the single rarest antique Case knife. It had a large flat lever on the side that was marked "CASE's ZIPPER".

I assume Rosewood, like the toe nails. I was stoked to get this one on a trade. What was incredible was that this knife was behind the counter in a drawer, it had a price tag of $65 on it. I was very pleased to get this one in trade. I have the box too.

I wish I could fall into a deal like that. I'm going to start looking at some of the Cases I've seen recently. Great looking knife. Thanks for the pic.

Thats right, the Zipper. Now I remember. I imagine the value is 4 figures.

That's a good looking knife as well. Did all of the Case bulldogs come with the wood container.

As far as I know all the older Bulldogs came with the wood box, except for the blue scroll. The boxes are not all the same either. The one in my picture is older than most you see, the hinges are not the same as later versions, and the font is completely different.

Mine came in a box. It was probably the low end of the clasps.
