Anyone making Kydex for these? Great little knife but the sheath just plain sucks, IMO. Would like to get some Kydex to wear it as an EDC.

I'd check with David Brown or Rainwalker. They seem to make high quality sheaths for a ton of knives.

Might I ask what's wrong with the sheath specifically? I was contemplating getting a small Barkie but would adding another $35 or so to the total for a new sheath would be something having to consider.

Lock1454 The Bumble Bee comes with the Clovis Pouch which is a general purpose sheath for all kinds of junk.

Jeff, Sharpshooter does kydex too and I am sure has the Bumble bee on hand so you would not have to send it probably

I have just bought a small brkt, the mini Northstar. Its lockup into the sheath thus far is quite sound, I carry it scout style.

The mini Northstar definitely has one of the better sheaths along with the Imp and TUSK

I'm sure I could make one, I've done a few Izulas, a kitchen knife, a fillet knife, and a Scrap yard scrapper 5. You'd have to ship the knife to me though as well as specify how you'd like to carry it. If you don't have luck elsewhere, hit me up.

hey jeff, do the buy brown website, that is david brown, he is good people and does an excellent job with kydex...

I think that Shotgunner11 character bends the plastic every once in a while....

Twinblade does kydex sheaths for barkies and may have one in his possesion so you won't have to send your blade in.

Yup, I just got done making another Bumble Bee sheath for a fella on another forum. I will get a pic up in a minute.

It is the smaller one. :D

It is large teklok and my belt loop compatible, with 1.5" hole spacing and necker capable as well. I can add a second set of rivets to make it small teklok compatible as well.

Unfortunately, I am laid off and cannot afford to re-up my platinum membership for PT'sd and what not, but you can email me at jmarshall14 @ wi. rr. com

Jeff.

BTW, thanks Bill.

crowdog, help me out with "Scout style" I've never heard of that term as a method of carry. Sounds cool though....

Mr. Randall, I am going to ask Kiah about a sheath for that.

The Bumble Bee Comes with the Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Clovis Pouch Sheath.

Specs:

Overall Length: 5.96 Inches
Blade Length: 2.350 Inches
Cutting Edge Length: 2.250 Inches
Blade Steel: 52-100 @ 58rc
Blade Thickness: .120 Inch
Weight: 3.625 Ounces

WOW, at under 2.5 inches that makes it legal carry in just about every state!

Cool choice :)

Jeff, nice knives and sheaths. If I may ask, what's the purpose of the three smaller rivets on the bumble bee sheath? I'm assuming the larger ones are for a tec-lock.
