I don't normally disclose my business, but I'm really upset. Two weeks ago my wife got layed off from her job. She was a director for a non-profit organization. I told her we would just have to tighten our belt. I work for a private Pharmacy as a sales representative. Well Friday my boss who is also the owner tells me he sold his pharmacy to a large chain. Tomorrows my last day. We are a family of seven. Please add my family in your prayers guys. We appreciate it.

Good luck to you and your wife in your next step!
It's a shame, getting hit from both sides like this.

A few of my friends in the US are facing the same dilemma, I am sure you guys will come out of this very soon and brave. My prayers are with you...

I feel your pain my friend. I'm the bread winner for my family of 5 and just recently got back to work after a long bout of unsteady work. I'm still "underempolyed" as they say, working with my brother in his business. Not what I want to be doing nor the pay I would like to see but it's keeping my little gunners fed.

I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

I wish the best to you and your family, May God Bless all of you...............

Prayers sent! Been there, this last year has been a rough go for my company, and the hospital where my wife works has cut back hours, and layed off a number of people.

We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and hope you and your wife find even betters jobs quickly!

God Bless all of you......prayers sent. My wife and I are currently faced with a similar situation and we are not sure which direction to go. I do, however, believe that no matter what happens, some how HE will provide.....it may be in far less denominations than I am used to, but it WILL be enough. Take Care and good luck....let us know what happens.

We feel your pain too. We are going thru a similar problem in our house. Our prayers are with you all!

Prayers for you and everyone else in a similar situation. Hopefully the saying about one door closing as another opens holds true.

Not to rain on anyone's religious beliefs or prayer service but maybe some donations of knives or other gear that we're not using that Harp could sell and make a few bucks would be a more tangible relief idea? Harp, are you going to be able to draw unemployment? Are you going to be able to make it a while doing that and searching for a new job? Give me some details. If you don't want to do this publicly then drop me an email at jeff@jungletraining.com

That sucks bro. I know all too well how the times are choking many of us. For years, even way before Sarah and I got married, I have always been the bread winner. I always told her, "I'll pay all the bills. You just pay for little things like your cell phone and I'll handle the rest and you use your money to have fun." It made me feel so good to be able to do that. Her family always had it rough when she was growing up and I wanted her to get to have some fun. Well in the past year, that has changed to her paying for damn near everything and me only contributing a small amount. I've tried to find another job, but there's just nothing in our area that would give me steady pay and good medical insurance. Everything out there is work that would suit a teenager just fine and couldn't possibly support a family. The insurance is the main thing for me as I have a lot of health problems and I'm constantly on medication. Without health insurance, I'd quickly be in the hole for a debt that would stay with me for the rest of my life. The owner of the company I work for is pretty cool and keeps me on with at the very least enough to cover my medical insurance. These times are definitely sucking bawls for a lot of us. We'll be praying for you and your family. Good luck brother. I hope something good comes your way soon.
