I would demand a full refund plus shipping. There are enough of these knives around that you should be able to get another, with a low serial number and the proper COA and box. I would also let Larry Oden know you need one. He may have one or can let you know when he gets one. As an FYI, when Vern Taylor did this project for the Remington Shaver Stores he had 3 or 4 samples with no serial number and no box or COA. If you run into one of these I wouldn't pass it up.
 
Thanks Richard! I may take that course of action. I called the seller today and left a message, I'm hoping for a return phone call tomorrow.

Scott - Did you pay with a US Postal Service Money Order??? If so, I would contact your local Postal Inspectors...they love this sort of crap... :D

It's the classic "bait & switch", and whether intentional or not, the seller is still liable...
 
Well, just days shy of waiting for 3 months, my #66 Mastodon 110 showed up today. I didn't have to threaten, be mean, rude, nor ignorant....just patient :) :D :cool:

Maybe it's because I haven't been collecting the 110 for all that long but I'm constantly amazed by the variety and quality of the scales on these knives.

Absolutely beautiful knife :cool: .
