dan, check out my post here http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4859908#post4859908. if you or anyone are tired of getting spyware, adware, get avant browser. you can disable java applets, scripts, flash animations, active x, and block unwanted popups (without having to download a seperate popup stopper) i have everything but popups and scripts and pictures disabled when i'm at bf. by having all of these items disabled, you wont get a lot of ad's loading on webpages, your webpages load quicker this way. in explorer settings, internet options, i dont allow second party cookies, only session cookies. this cuts down on a lot of crap too.

I had to get rid of Norton last year, it had so much running in the back ground my Putter wouldn't run any longer, the up grade from the year before slowed it up a lot, but I put up with it,,

I went to AVG free Edition after that,, I'm a happy camper now

I told semantic that I wasn't going to buy a new computer just so I could run Norton, and then they refunded my money.. :thumbup:
