Alright, ladies and gentlemen! I want a Strider SMF to keep my SnG company, but cannot afford to drop the dough on one at this point. So, I figured I'd try to trade a few of my knives that aren't seeing the proper pocket time in hopes of getting the SMF. Before I get into my knives let me say that I'm looking for a ranger green SMF CC and that's all I'm really looking for now.A CC and other SMF's are all I'm really looking for. Maybe a Carbon Fiber and DLC Dua could be negotiated also. Same goes for an Umnumzaan or VECP.The blades I have up for trade easily meet the value of a CC, Dua, or Umnumzaan. They are:
-Brous Blades Silent Soldier Flipper
-Emerson CQC-7V
-Benchmade 755 MPR (M390 steel)
-Hogue EX01
-Zero Tolerance 300
But, I will gladly look at any SMF that someone would want to trade. My knives are all in LNIB condition and haven't been sharpened. They've seen maybe a handful of times in the pocket and have only cut paper. The exception to this is the Zero Tolerance. I tried to sharpen it on my Sharpmaker and then my Dad tried on his stones and wheels, all to no avail. Don't get me wrong, it is sharp, just not sharp like I feel it should be. And, as are depicted in the pictures, the blade got kind of shiny and has some hairline scratches on it. The only other problem with one of these knives is the SSF has some negligible up/down blade play. Jason Brous himself said he would carbidize the lock face for free. That's it. The others are all totally mint and the 2 "problems" I mentioned are small in my opinion.
That being said let me reiterate and say that I'm lusting for a ranger green SMF CC. But, other SMF's will definitely be considered. I tried to take as many pics as possible, but if more are required feel free to ask and I'll get them right out. All knives come with their boxes and papers. I'd obviously prefer a new/like new SMF, but a user in good shape is doable also. You can contact me through any of the excepted ways, but email will probably get you the quickest response.
I'll ship my knives Priority with tracking and insurance and would appreciate if you'd do the same. I will only ship CONUS and for this one I might ship to NY. I know the laws are jacked up there right now, but if a ranger green SMF CC pops up in NY, well I think I'll have to do it. Please make sure you're old enough to be able to legally own these knives. That's about it, any questions or requests for more pics please feel free to ask.
