^ Yes, that is true. I think most people like the pistols so they buy the knife.

I just thought it was a cool looking knife, that is different than most 6" knives out there. I also love a good value, so I don't mind the relatively simple construction and basic materials. I will use it to make fire the next time I go camping, will definitely make a few feather sticks and split some kindling with it. I agree there are better knives for this, but I want to see what this knife can do. Most of the time, it will share belt time with my other knives as I futz around the house.

If could get the real 78, I would. It would cost over double what you would pay for a 81 right now to purchase it from overseas, and for that amount of money, there are better knives. I'm glad you like your Glock knives.

That is very generous of you! Right now people are selling on the auction site for $80-100. Are sure you don't want to cash them in to fund new purchases? I'm okay for not, gonna wait and see if they become available again or not. It sounds like FM78 production is going to continue, so I am optimistic. Also, based on what I learn from using my knockoff, I may decide there are better designs. Thanks again, you are awesome!

Well I took this bad boy camping today, and it did great. I beat it through twisted hardwood and it survived with no looseness detected. The finish has a nice wear to it. After my modifications, it can stand up to hard use, or any other use I may have for it.
