Hi guys! I have new bunka knife for sale
I usually cold forge my knives with flat dies but this one is first that I did with round dies on my power hammer and I like it. It turned out more appealing than I thought it would.
In the center is silver steel (1.3 %C) at around 62 HRC and claddings are from iron.
Handle is from walnut tree and European beech (not stabilized).
Dimensions:
Blade length: 165 mm (6.5 inch)
Blade thickness: from 2.1 mm (0.0823 inch) tapering to 1.8 mm (0.07 inch)
Blade height at highest point: 52 mm (2.05 inch)
Final sharpening - 8000 naniwa.
