I got my 15" AK today, I got that little pink slip Tues. (You want to talk about suspense?)
All I said to Uncle was "Send me one of those $75 AK's", let me tell you...it is a deal of a lifetime. I have gotten some UBDOTD's before, but this is perfect in execution. I havent "checked" the edge with a file, but this is done by the best. No doubt by my mind it is as perfect as the execution.
The handle, in all honesty, is the most comfortable handle I have ever held. Like Rusty has said "Like shaking the hand of an old friend", I have never understood it till now.
I now know why this is the best selling Khukri. Simply the best of all wierd khukri worlds (and thats a good place).
If you havent got a 15" AK, I suggest you take Uncle up on his current deal. I have had many a khukri... and this is dayumn near the perfect all around khukri. Heavy enough to do work, light enough to carry all day. Wow...I am constantly impressed with these things.
