Nice pics Tedwca, I like to exchange pics with folks around the world, it is always good to put a face with fine art work.

Hello Master Kami Bura, nice looking family you have there. Prayers for the good health of you and your's...

Ted,
Those are some great pics- thanks for posting them. Now I know what the place my Bashdol khukuri was named for looks like, even if I can't find it on a map:o.

Now that's just cool.

Like dropping over his house for tea and a visit.

WOW! thank you for the pics! What fascinates me is at 6'4" and 250 bls and used to working 11 hour days. I wouldn't last an hour swinging a hammer against this man.

Oops, I forgot to specify that the photos are from Rajesh, the shop manager.

Dang...some of the best pics I've seen.

Email sent on cute boy wearing the "T" shirt. He looks ornery as all hell. :D ;)

And is that dried Maize/Corn/Selu hanging from the ceiling? I'm wondering if it's part of their food stores or if it's for feeding any animals, anyone know?

Thanks for the pics. I was fascinated too by the food hanging from the rafters. It's either corn or rubber chickens. :)

I cropped into one of the original images and it does appear to be corn. I actually thought it was tobacco drying at first glance.

Thank you for the help, Ted

Thanks for posting the pics, that was great.
That village looks real nice, too, I love the terrain.
Looks like they are terrace farming. Is that for themselves, or do they export food from that village to others as well?

Bura looks older but not near as frail as I was expecting. I know he's had some serious health problems. Wish he wasn't smoking tho.

Thanks for the pics. It's good to see Bura and a slice of his life in his village.

I was curious about the pictures on the wall in one of the pictures of inside Bura's house. It appears to be Christian pictures, including the nativity scene. Is Bura, or are some of the Nepalis/Nepalize in that area, Christian? As long as I've been visting this forum, I can't remember what religion is always discussed here but I assumed that he would be Buddist or Hindu. I just thought that it was interesting and it caught my eye. Anyone know?
