1095 steel with hamon. Handle is cord wrapped over ray skin with a damascus menuki. There is some rust present (see pics) on both sides of the blade near and on the spine. Also a speck of rust on the sharpened edge, about 1/8” back from the tip of the blade, opposite the knife’s presentation side. The kydex sheath has a leather cover on one side and stamped with the maker’s logo.
