This beautiful knife was designed by Michael Burch (Burchtree Bladeworks) and produced in a limited quantity of 100 by Reate. This one is number 92/100.
It has never cut anything but has been lightly handled (it’s hard to resist because the action is extremely crispy) which shows a little on the dark green micarta scales.
The blade is perfectly centered and the detent is the best I’ve ever felt on a knife. It’s an absolute joy to fidget with, the form factor is striking yet balanced, and the ergos are nice in the hand.
