Burial Knife

I don't know whether this thread was prompted by the loss of our own Charlie Mike, who of course would have had his own inimitable thoughts on the topic, but I'm glad to see the open conversation. I agree that family and friends don't always agree with our plans. My parents, when they decided on cremation, made sure to ask my brother and me if we'd be OK with it (though I don't think they would have been moved had we objected). And, of course, funeral arrangements are yet another topic. Folks can leave tokens and items of significance if they like, but in the case of cremation, someone living is going to have to drink that Dr. Pepper.

On your “prompted”question I don’t know but maybe seeing the notification of his passing everytime we login might have had something to do with me getting the idea.
One of those subliminal things maybe?
