Burn Notice

If it's a plain edge, no coating La Griffe... it is prolly a handground Ti.

Thank God I'm not the only one that is blade watching  I knew someone would know what they were using.

Season 3 has started?

I better start dling again, Australia is 1 bloody season late, it's still at like the 5th episode of season 2 .

Since I very rarely watch commercial TV I've never heard of it. What's it about?

You were right about it being a TOPS CAT. Good eye.

He removed the micarta scales so he could conceal it in the binding of a briefcase.

Last night's episode was great--it featured an Emerson fixed blade, a Kandahar IIRC. It's great to see such a nice custom being used, and on television no less.

pics of the kandahar on screen?

the only reason I watch the show is Gabrielle Anwar. I fell in love with her in the Michael J Fox 'for love or money' and Al Pacino' 'scent of a woman', and now am in love with her again, all sinewy muscle and tanned....

Burn Notice is an awesome show! Icing on the cake when I first noticed Michael Westen's use of a, Emerson karambit with mother of pearl scale inlays. Recently saw him disassemling that TOPS C.A.T. -- which is ironic given that TOPS sells a version without the scales; but it makes for great TV! Figured that was a La Griffe, someone over there really likes Emerson. Thanks for pointing out the Emerson Kandahar too, not sure I've seen that episode.
One recent episode (okay, maybe not recent, I was watching it during a marathon) featured something that looked like a Merc Worx, but the handle wasn't one of those chili peppers they usually use... Anyone have any idea what this one was?

And there was another episode where a weapons smuggler had a set of throwing knives "custom made" -- appeared to be Kit Raes. Not that I'm a fan of United Cutlery or any knife made of 420, but in a throwing knife it's much more forgivable. Besides, Kit Rae's thrower designs are the only manufactured ones I know of that both worked with that story line and hand an acceptable price point. And what's really beautiful about that show was that in a later episode, a shot opened with Fi playing with one while she waited for Michael Westen to return. That, and Fi's completely delicious.
Which is not to overlook Bruce Campbell -- if not for him, I doubt I would've ever started watching Burn Notice.
