It is much cheaper to just buy one of Larry's as opposed to building a press tool to form your own. I've also welded them from SS sheet metal but those do not last as long as the pressed SS tube that Larry offers.
 
Short of forging one out of a piece of stainless tubing, buying one from Larry or Darren is the smartest way to go.
