Im sure its been asked and answered many times before but im having one heck of a time finding my answer. Im building a double burner blown forge for damascus (eventualy) and am wondering how the orientation of my burners be. Little more info on the forge. It is two cut down propane tanks (only ends up a couple inches longer than original tank) welded together. 2" brick bottom 2" kaowoal lining with mortar coating. (I know better coatings are available but i already have it and a lot of it). So if you all could give me some advice that would be great!

A propane tank forge(5" diameter x 16" long) needs only about 125,000 BTU to achieve the 400 BTU/inⁿ recommended for forge welding. A single blown burner can easily produce this much heat. Your question is kinda like asking "Where should I put the second engine in my minivan?" Use a single burner and place it about 4" from the back, about 1½" above center angling about 15° forward.
