Darrel - I also like the one I have. Simple, straight forward. I use it for a lot more than grinding knives. Great for free hand shaping of parts in almost any material. I was told that a fax was sent out earlier this month to distributors saying that the grinder would be discontinued. As soon as my supplier received the fax, he tried to order, but they are sold out! This could only mean that they are losing money on the machine or you would think they would be happy to take orders on a backlog! Sad Passing.
