I have up for sale a Burt Foster Blue Collar Hunter with a bit of added collector value. I will briefly lay out the reasons below:

1. Forged. I have it from Burt himself that he is no longer making these, only water jet cut for the Blue Collar.

2. A bit thicker and beefier than his average and current models.

3. Forged from 01 as opposed to the more common 1095.

4. Featured in Blade Magazine May 2007.

5. That same issue of Blade Magazine included in this sale.

The knife is "new" and unused/unsharpened by me. It does have a couple of tiny oxidation spots from storage that I have done my best to show in the photos. I also put "new" in quotation marks because after the use in the Blade Magazine review, the knife went back to Burt for a complete refinish. It comes with its original leather sheath.

Burt currently charges $275 for the water jet cut hunters, and $450 for the laminated hunters. Due to the issues mentioned above, I am listing this pretty much in the middle of those two at $375 shipped CONUS and insured.
