unfortunately, i have to let go of this one...beautiful bowie, which my poor skill in photography does not capture. comes with a leather sheath made by Burt. this knife is mint!

9" blade, and 1/4" thick...guard and ferrule is SS damascus. beautiful pattern of CA buckeye burl handle with SS pins.

i believe the steel is 5160. she's a-light-and-fast!!!

But .. most of Burt's blade are from W2 or 52100 .. sometimes O1 or 1095

i think you guys are correct...this was my first big purchase in terms of fixed, forged, bowies....i have an order with Burt...something i've always wanted so this one can go to a new home.
