Now I think that's exactly what I'd like to work with around a camp! Blade enough for the real work, and styled to really excel in the camp kitchen - make's food prep a pleasure!
And on top of that is an active enough hamon to really bring out the steel work! Sweet!
Burt makes a great knife. Good luck with yours it is a beaut. I have 2 with a 3rd in the works. I can't wait. After he won the best utility/hunter award at the 2003 knife expo his backlog went from 1 month to 3 months. It is worth the wait.
Congrats Danbo! Now that I've been able to tear my eyes away from that cool hamon, let me add that that's some gorgeous wood for the handle and the sheath looks real nice as well.
RacerRoy, Wulf sent me an email the other day that said simply, "Buy This Knife!". Included in the email was a link to this picture. That's all it took; the rest is history.
Danbo, sweet score! I love that Foster camp knife... I bet Wulf didn't need to twist your arm much at all. Bring her with next time we play show and tell, huh?
