An imminent influx of new bladeware has made the sale of a few pieces a prudent, if otherwise regrettable choice.

First up is this exceptional forged integral by one of the very best Master Smiths - Burt Foster.

You can read all of the details surrounding this knife here:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=366000

The specs are as follows:

- 8 1/2" blade of forged, clay hardened W2, 13 1/2" OAL.
- Premium buckeye burl handle
- 14k gold spacer and domed pins
- fancy leather sheath with snakeskin inserts
- All work by maker

This picture from Burt's site gives a much better look at the very happening hamon:

The knife is in mint condition - never carried, used or sharpened. It is available to you for US$995 inclusive of insured shipping. The sheath alone would be in the range of US$150 if from a top quality sheath maker. This is one of the benefits of a Burt Foster purchase - tha maker IS a top quality sheath maker.

The first "I'll take it" sent via e-mail to: rogerpinnock@cogeco.ca gets it.

Thank you for your time.

Roger

I certainly need that kind of help. Recent purchases are going to force some selling very soon. :(
