Found some carbon fiber but I am still looking for thicker walled carbon fiber tubing.

I like that. It sure would be nice not to have to worry so much about heat at the lanyard tubing while handle shaping. Looks good, too.

Try searching for graphite tubing instead of carbon fiber. Kite suppliers, as well as Tap Platics carry it in different sizes and wall thicknesses.

Good job there! I sure like that color.
