Bush Shirts

I've been looking at the Filson website and the Shelter Cloth shirt has tickled my fancy...I think I've just reconsidered my previous decision.

Go to Cheaperthandirt.com and check out any of the surplus British military shirts/jacs...
Several different models to choose from in differing weights... all for under $20 US, pretty much...
I've hiked in 'em for years out here in the Cascades/Olympics... When it's hot, take 'em off and sweat, then when you rest, put 'em back on to cut the wind and keep you from chillin'. During cooler weather, I wear one of the slightly heavier weight ones. Also tough in the underbrush... And if you rip 'em, easy to patch or just buy another one!

I once had a chamois cloth shirt from L.L. Bean. Found it in the back of a pick up. Took it home, washed it, and got ten years of good use. Very comfortable.

Another favorite is a denim, western cut with pearl snap buttons, it's got to have the buttons!

Go to K mart get some dickies shirts there cheap enough that you can also buy some thermals and t shorts to go with em you won't win a beauty pagent but they're functional and tough as all get out

I like this Bush Shirt:

I hope you can forgive me for this joke.

For sure, you won't wear it out.

With Filson, it's either you outgrow it by getting fat, or you pass it down to your kids.

Good stuff, no hype.

The Busse of heavy duty outdoor wear.
