Bush Sword in W2, Oak and hemp

Stuart,

It is amazing you fused elegance with primal qualities in this work. The knife has a look all its own.

Like all of your projects, I love it. Nice to see big working blades. I love the persian bowie you built me, but I have yet to get it dirty. Hope things we good at your house this Christmas, I bet the 2 little ones were hard to keep in controll. Best for the New Year. Al

very nice!
looks like it would be comfortable in hand and a blast to pla -- erm, I mean, work with. :D

This thing makes me grin. And I absolutely *love* the picture showing how deep it sunk into the branch with one hit. That's what they're supposed to do, and it gives one a feeling of satisfaction that doesn't show up elsewhere to have a blade cut in like that.

I really love this look.... as if it wasn't obvious. Great job. Sometimes, I wish I got into hamons but now that I see what I'd be up against.....

Thanks everyone. Thanks Rick. As I mentioned in the earlier thread with the pair of them (before the re-handle) it was inspired by your FUG.
Love the style.
