Same steel as my little skinner, gonna wear walnut scales, and have a scandi grind. It has an OAL of 8 1/2", blade length of 4 1/4" and blade is about 1" edge to spine at its widest point, and a bit over 1/8" thick. I included some shots of the handle material block, and some with a Frosts Clipper for proportion.
It is still pretty rough, and needs more finish work of course. I will post progress as it happens. Feedback & helpful critiques welcome.

That looks great. I love the almost spear point that it has.

Can't wait to see the finished knife.

Thanks for sharing.

Keep us updated as you work! it will be one interesting project.

As an aside, this blank throws sparks off my ferro rod better than both my Clippers. That said I guess I need to make a matching walnut firesteel handle to complete the package. I may have to hire out a sheath though, as I have no knowledge in that arena.

Very nice! I like the spearpoint too! Will you skeletonize the handle any or leave it like it is?
Very cool looking

Funny you should ask. I have been sitting around tonight getting a feel for the balance and weight to make a decision about that. The blank as is, balances right at the front guard, so I will probably take some out between the pins. I also fought with it trying to mark my pin holes, the arcs along the top and bottom of the handle make measuring for holes an interesting task. I have some 1/8 brass rod, but think maybe a larger size pin would have a better look, and maybe swap the rear pin for a brass lanyard tube. Still up in the air, who knows?
