Bushcraft community hate towards non-bushcraft knives? What's up with this bushcraft craze? 😂

Hey you are all stateless vagrants, states and money are just things someone made up.

You can all stop paying taxes now and if anyone asks why just say tax is not a thing it's just something someone made up.

Quiet Quiet
Still missing the point I see.

Meanwhile, we’re all still waiting for you to show us something a “bushcraft knife” can do that virtually any other knife can’t do.

As soon as you give a specific definition of the definitive Bowie knife, with examples.
So, no real responses. First it was multiple strawmen, and now it’s a refusal to answer unless something else that has nothing to do with what we’re talking about is answered. Oh dear, you aren’t very good at this, I’m afraid.

I believe that's the first version, Bowie and his brother continued to develop it as time passed.
Wait, according to the video in this thread
the Bowie knife existed long before Bowie had his made.....

There was an even earlier version that pre-dated the original Bowie knife, the “Hudson Bay” knife. Supposedly made as a camp knife.
The HBC camp knife didn't really predate James Bowie. Early examples are 1830s give or take, the Vidalia sandbar fight was 1827. so about the same time period.....

It’s a miracle Lewis & Clark were able to survive on their expedition using what amounted to cooking knives. They should’ve bought a knife called “Bushcrafter”. Things would’ve gone much easier.
