My nephew has decided to serve in the Army, and has enlisted. I'm proud of him. He has really developed into a good young man. There were times we were worried, and we'll continue to worry too. This was a good decision. Congratulations bro.

So, while he's here for a visit, I let him pick a blank for me to make up for him. He picked the Bushcraft Karda blank that I ground out to demonstrate the Scandi grind to the guild. So he gets the first Bushcraft Karda.

He also picked Cocobolo, and I put a mosaic pin in there for him. The knife is 7.25" OAL with a 2.5" blade. The steel is 3/32" thick 01 with a wicked Scandi grind and a penetrator tip. Its got a black paper micarta liner with four black carbon fiber pins and matching black bullseye filler.
