Nick:)

That is a great looking blade. Very nice

Thanks guys. I also am including a matching Army size firesteel with this package. I don't have any pics of that. But it has the Black paper Micarta sandwiched between the Natural Canvas. It looks really cool. The sheath will also have a dangler option as well.

Nick:)

Nick. Smokin bro. Great work!

Alrighty, a few pics of the knife I'm making. The model is my Bushfinger, the steel is 01. This was yesterday. Knives profiled (11 Bushfingers in all, 8 in 5/32" steel, 3 in 1/8" steel).

Spent the whole day drilling steel yesterday. Over 40 blades got drilled and chamfered. Today I'm starting the pre-heat treat grinds.

Okay. Here they are this evening. Ready for the oven tomorrow.

Beautiful knives guys!!

Some of you have my address, but I want the remainder of the knives to go to Marcelo's Cantu's house; as I will be out of town from Nov 8th- Nov 15th.

If any of you whom have my addy think you can't get the knife to me by Nov 6, let me know and I will have Marcelo pm you his address.

Thanks, we are looking forward to get your beautiful knives all dirty:thumbup:

I believe you can ship them now if you want. Contact Tonym for where to send them.

Getting closer to the day. Definitely going to be a good read.

No problem Nick.

Yes, All makers please include a description of the knife and your self. If you have a website, put it down:thumbup:

Well, since I live in CT, I'll volunteer to receive some knives next week- Andy Roy, Koyote and others- send 'em my way! ;) :)

(and I'm never to be seen again... :) )

I'm working on mine every chance I get.... but it's not looking good for the deadline. I'm working 72 hour weeks at the moment. Luckily I made a practice knife a few weeks back just to go through the motions since it has been a while since my last one. I may have to send that in place of THE knife I am working on. Disappointing, but at least I will have a knife to send in. It sure 'aint pretty as I was only doing a quick one for practice, but it should be functional. :)

Great knives in here..I dont stand a chance..
Oh well, Momma didnt raise no quitter!
I wont have any pics for you guys yet..Its gonna be a race to the finish for me...I have been swamped and havnt started it yet..I hope to make it in time!!!!
Maybe I will post a concept sketch later on? I dont know...
I will do what I can to get it in Tony's hands for testing by the 20th.

Well, odd situation there.

I agree with above statement. Lots of great knives, I almost feel bad for the testers on this one. Almost...

There are some beautiful entries so far! I will be PM'ing the following participants my address. I'm sure it was stated earlier but please include any stats you feel are pertinent. If you want, you can also include any biographical/methodology/contact information as we'd like to include that in our write-up. Also, if you are not on this list and should be, Let Tonym know.
