Bushcraft Knives up for grabs - 3V & Micarta

my hands are very small, so would it be okay for me to thin down the handles like on the first production run to fit my hands better? is this possible? i hope this isn't blasphemy. I love the knife and didn't even get it yet, but was just thinking, and really love the look of the first production. thanks for your help.
